UK parliament recalled over Syria response

Someone is killing people in Syria with chemical weapons. How shall we respond? I know, lets kill more people!

“The US has said there is “clear” evidence that the Assad government was behind last week’s attack”. Remember when we had clear evidence that Sadaam had Weapons of Mass Destruction, including chemical weapons?

You may be surprised to know that there is clear evidence that the “rebels” in Syria now control many of the areas where Syria’s chemical weapons were previously stored.

We cannot simply accept the word of US intelligence or politicians with a vested interest. Any intervention by the Western powers can only serve to inflame the situation further. Chucking Cruise missiles in there will not stop people dying, it will just increase the body count.
